Kate has been a licensed psychologist since 2004. She works with people who have experienced trauma, or are struggling with addiction, anxiety, depression, self-esteem/self worth issues, relationship issues, and stress. Kate has a long history of working with complex trauma. She is trained in Brainspotting, Equine assisted psychotherapy, and has worked with diverse populations. Kate works through Kate Theisz LLC.

N. Shaylor Alley

Shaylor has spent most of his time as a therapist working with addiction and trauma.  He started his service career as a Licensed Alcohol and Drug counselor tasked with designing, and delivering chemical health treatment to underserved adolescents.  Since then he has worked as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with adolescents and adults who have experienced symptoms of; trauma, depression, anxiety, self esteem, relationships, stress and supporting those struggling with addiction and recovery including gambling addiction.  Shaylor also works with family members of those struggling with addiction.  He is trained in Brainspotting and incorporates other techniques including meeting with some of his clients out in the pasture with horses to engage in Therapeutic Horsemanship.

As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor I have spent my time providing therapy for individuals struggling with symptoms of depression, anxiety, PTSD and co-occurring addiction.   I am comfortable working with a wide range of people, ages 12 and up, including the LGBTQ+ community, battered women, sexuality concerns, relationship problems, self-harm, suicidality, self-worth and self-esteem.   I rely heavily on building a trusting relationship, using a trauma informed approach, CBT, and humor, when appropriate, to help you achieve your therapy goals. Most recently earning my sex therapy certificate through UW Stout I am comfortable offering a sex positive, sex affirming approach.  Evening appointments available.Â
